The cats are not impressed.

Mommy and Daddy are scrambling to baby proof the rest of the house.

(Sorry for the 8 million edits to this page. Took a while to figure out how to get WordPress to play nicely with YouTube. Finally found the steps here: Challenges with Embedding YouTube video into WordPress blog.)

Why so quiet?

Yes, I beleive I did say that I’d try to post more often.

However, I think I have a valid excuse. There’s a new lady in my life. She keeps me smiling, keeps me up late, and seems to absolutely adore me. She doesn’t talk much. Yes, I have a daughter, Grace. Born July 26.

Needless to say, that’s kept me a little busy – not that I mind.

I do have a few projects in the works including (gasp) updates to the Mass Route Log. A few other idea are rattling around for some other hobbies of mine. I’ve been taking my GPS along every time I go someplace new, and am trying to build a tracklog so I can construct my own maps.

And apparently, I should do some work around the house too.

As if I didn’t ignore this site enough…

But where before I just didn’t bother to update this out of sheer laziness or lack of anything worthwhile to say, now I have a bona-fide excuse. I’m going to be a daddy at the end of July. Needless to say, both Kelly & I are excited – me probably more so, but that has to do with the fact that I’m not the one who has to carry it around for the next 5 months. Still, I have a lot of projects to do around the house – and roadgeeking time is pretty much cut to near nothing (which is where it’s been for the past few years anyways).

Wouldn’t trade it for anything, though.
