We have three cats. Cheshire, George and Sunny.
We were talking about what they would say if they could talk. We decided that Cheshire refers to us as “bitch” and “bastard,” as in “Fill my food bowl, bastard.” George… well, George has the mouth of a sailor. “George,” we’d say. “Fuck you” would be the response. Sunny, being the kitten (8 months old) is more of a “whatchya doin guys? huh? huh? whatchya doin’? can I come? wanna play? ” at which point George would swat at her and say “Fuck off.”
Cheshire also wouldn’t refer to the other cats by name - they would be “the other one” (George) and “the little thing” (Sunny).
I’ve started using another browser. It’s called Flock and it’s built around the Firefox browser, which I’ve been using up until this point. However, it’s got some pretty cool things that make me willing to play with it for a while. One is the integrated blogging tools. I’m writing this post from within the browser, instead of within my edit page on neilbert.com. Not a huge difference but interesting nonetheless, especially when combined with “The Shelf.” The shelf is a small scratch-pad type of window where I can drag links and images to hold them and then, when I start making a post, drag them back in. It also has support for del.icio.us which is a social bookmarking site. (If you’re at all curious what I have on there, my collection is here.) It also has support for Flickr, which I don’t use sicne I’m not really a photo-oriented kind of guy.
While I’m posting, I might as well mention my total lack of anything recently. For those who didn’t know, Kelly & I got married 2 months ago and that’s kind of kept me busy. Hopefully I’ll actually get back into posting here - both things I find interesting and just stuff in general. (But I probably won’t :-)
